Dr. Jennifer R. Stalkup is a board-certified dermatologist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rice University and received her doctor of medicine from Baylor College of Medicine with Honors. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and her residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Stalkup is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a proud member of numerous other local and national organizations, including The Texas Dermatological Society, Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. She is the recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association “Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation” for Scholastic Achievement and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She has numerous publications in respected dermatology journals and also authored several book chapters in esteemed medical textbooks on viral skin diseases.
Dr. Stalkup opened her dermatology practice in August 2006 on the premise of delivering high-quality and patient-focused dermatology services with a caring and compassionate touch. In a calm, friendly environment, she treats her patients and staff with kindness and respect. Dr. Stalkup is on medical staff at Medical City of Plano. She participates in numerous community service activities such as organizing free skin-cancer screenings as well as lecturing to the public about skin cancer, self skin-exams, and the effects of the sun and aging. Dr. Stalkup is recognized as a Best Doctor in Collin County 2014, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as a Best Doctor in Dallas 2017 and 2018. She also has received the Vitals Patient’s Choice Award in 2012, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2012, and On/Time Doctor Award in 2017 and 2018.
Dr. Stalkup specializes in the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails in patients of all ages and skin types. Her areas of expertise include pediatric and general adult dermatology, the prevention and treatment of skin cancer, and dermatologic surgery. She also performs cosmetic removal and treatment of skin growths and moles as well as Botox for hyperhidrosis and facial lines.
Dr. Stalkup resides in Plano, TX with her husband, Randy, her children, Will and Emily, and her two King Charles Cavaliers, Scarlett and Steve.
Dr. Brooke M. Renkes, MD is a board-certified dermatologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Notre Dame and her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. While in medical school, Dr. Renkes served as the clinic coordinator for the Travis Park Clinic, providing dermatology services to the underserved in San Antonio. Through this experience she was inspired to specialize in dermatology. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center Dallas and her residency at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center.
Dr. Renkes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatology Society and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Renkes practices general dermatology seeing all ages and skin types. Her clinical interests include acne, skin cancer prevention and treatment and overall skin health.
Dr. Renkes grew up in Dallas and is thrilled to be back home. In her free time, Dr. Renkes enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering, and “slathering her children in sunscreen”.
Sheree Patel received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She then attended Nova Southeastern University and graduated on the Dean’s List from the Miami Dade Physician Assistant Program in 2006.
Her strong interest in skin care led her to choose Dermatology as her elective course in her clinical training year. After graduating, Ms. Patel was nationally certified as a Physician Assistant and is licensed to practice by the state of Texas. She has been practicing dermatology in the DFW area since 2007. Professional memberships include the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants (TAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
Ms. Patel treats people of all ages and is able to diagnose and provide effective treatment for a variety of dermatologic conditions. In addition, she provides cosmetic treatment with Botox injections. Ms. Patel has a sincere commitment to her patients’ well being and will provide quality health care to each individual.
Sheree resides in west Frisco with her husband Shai, their daughter Alaina, and son Kellan. When she is not at the office, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and mostly spending time with her family.
Leslie Hornberger, PA-C graduated in 2000 from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She continued her education to achieve a Master of Business Administration in 2002.
Since then, she worked as a Financial Analyst for several years at Texas Instruments before deciding to return to school to become a Physician Assistant. She attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and graduated in 2010 with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. During this time she quickly determined that her passion was practicing dermatology and has provided for patients in the specialty ever since.
Ms. Hornberger is licensed by the state of Texas and also holds national certification as a PA-C. She is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Ms. Hornberger practices general dermatology and uses her skill set and training to diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions. She sees and treats patients of all ages and enjoys connecting with patients while providing conscientious care.
Leslie, born in Dallas and raised in Plano, is a native Texan who loves spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. She currently resides in Dallas with her family.
